Eddie, Emery, and Evan embark on a brand new school year after enjoying an unforgettable summer vacation. Louis and Jessica think about having another child. 'Fresh Off the Boat' Season 2 Episode 2 "Boy II Man" aired on Tuesday, Sept. 29 on ABC. "FOTB' centers on the Huangs, a Chinese-American family. In the season premiere, the Huangs took a family vacation in their minivan to Gator World.

In "Boy II Man," Eddie's next door neighbor and love interest Nicole is repeating the eighth grade. Nicole takes it upon herself to protect the 7th graders from being bullied by the current eighth graders. Jessica tells Eddie to choose a music class for his elective period. Jessica wants Eddie to overachieve now, so that eventually he will be able to attain a music scholarship in college. Eddie weasels his way out of Jessica's plans, so that he can tutor Nicole. Louis wants to have a daughter and tries to convince Jessica to have another child.

"Boy II Man" was directed by Claire Scanlon and written by Matt Kuhn. Ep. 2 was watched by 4.74 million viewers. Ep. 3 "Shaquille O'Neal Motors" airs on Tuesday, Oct. 6. It was directed by Lynn Shelton and written by Keith Heisler.
