‘WWE 2K15’ Release Date for PC Set?

WWE 2K15

Development studio 2K Sports confirmed that it is planning on releasing its wrestling-themed game "WWE 2K15" to the PC platform.

Unlike its console counterparts, the PC version of the game will come with various free content, Cinema Blend reported.

"WWE 2K15" was first released in 2014 as a console-exclusive game for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Now, less than a year after its debut, 2K has decided to let PC players try out "WWE 2K15."

The PC version of the game is set to be released in spring of this year, which is sometime around May.

Despite arriving later than the console versions, "WWE 2K15" for the PC will come with all of the game's DLCs for free. These include the 2K Showcase DLC's One More Match, Hall of Pain and Path of the Warrior, which features the legendary wrestler, The Ultimate Warrior.

Aside from these, the PC game also comes with additional playable characters and new matches.

"One of the great bonuses of getting the game on PC is that you get nearly all of the downloadable content that was released after 'WWE 2K15' launched in October free, as part of the package," WWE superstar John Cena, who's also featured in the cover of the game told WWE.com.

"That's an incredible amount of content: 26 extra characters, f new managers, 26 matches, 46 entire single player stories and cut scenes in 2K Showcase and a whole lot more," he added. "It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that that's a pretty awesome deal."

As to what gamers can expect for the future of the game series, 2K Sports' mother company, 2K Games, is aiming to launch the next installment of the franchise, the "WWE 2K16" to multiple gaming platforms, according to Reality Today.

This means that PC players might get the chance to play the upcoming game at around the same time as its console debut.

Although the studio has not yet confirmed its release date, reports suggest "WWE 2K16" might be released in October of this year.
