Selena Gomez recently opened up about dealing with body-shamers who have criticized the pop star for her new curves. During a Google Hangout chat with fans last Thursday, the "Come and Get It' singer shared her sentiments on dealing with bullies and wanting to eliminate all the hate in the world.

"I'd get rid of bullying," Gomez told a fan when asked about the one thing that she could change in the world. "People are so mean, it's exhausting."

The former Disney star even wished that she was capable of getting rid of negative comments on social media platforms because she believes that individuals should be able to post, say and be what they want to be without the fear of being judged.

Gomez has had her share of critics, especially after making the headlines when she wore a revealing swimsuit during her Mexico trip last month.

"I love being happy with me y'all #theresmoretolove," she wrote in her caption for a swimsuit photo of herself that she posted on Instagram while sitting by the pool in Mexico.

The Adidas NEO collaborator also offered sensible advice for her fans about making personal choices. According to Justine Bieber's ex-girlfriend, it is highly important for her to enjoy what she is doing and that she continues to become the best version of herself.

"We only have one life and it is very precious, there's a lot that we can do and there's a lot that we should do," Gomez told her fans. "If you're good and you're kind to other people and you work hard and you're actually doing something with your life, I think that's so fulfilling."

Furthermore, the actress spoke positive words about how her mother keeps her sane and grounded as well as how she passes on the most important values.

"My mom has always constantly reminded me that I'm no bigger or less than anybody, that I should treat everybody with respect, be kind and I feel like that is somebody who has impacted me more than she realizes," Gomez shared.

The pop star also shared about finding comfort in the studio as she works on her fourth studio album. She promised her fans that she has been recording tracks and is almost close to completing the album.

"...Just know that it's the best that I've ever done and you guys won't be disappointed!" Gomez said.
