"Supernatural' star Jared Padalecki has made a plea for his fans to offer him their love and support. The actor took to Twitter to reach out to his followers and let them know that he is deeply troubled during the past weeks.

"I need all of the love I can get right now. Please please give me a few seconds of your time and write me. #AlwaysKeepFighting," the actor wrote last Friday.

Paladecki's request came moments after he announced his decision to cancel a number of appearances. He also mentioned his great need to spend more time with his family and loved ones.

"Dear #JIBCON and #AHBL6. I am in desperate and urgent need of my family. I am so sorry to tell you this but I must head home," the 32-year-old further wrote.

Last March, Padalecki shared his experiences to Variety, particularly about feeling sadness at certain times in his life.

Despite being unhappy, the actor focuses on his charity campaign "Always Keep Fighting' and continues to help raise funds for To Write Love on Her Arms, a non-profit organization that seeks to offer support for individuals experiencing depressing, addiction and suicidal tendencies.

Recently, he and "Supernatural' co-star Jensen Ackles also collaborated for a "junior foundation' that aims to help address similar issues, such as mental illness and mood disorders.

Both actors will also reportedly collaborate with Random Acts, a foundation created by Misha Collins.

The former "Smallville' actor opened up about his personal goals for supporting charity-related causes. He also shared how he has showed support for Padalecki in recovering from a "dark road" as they were filming the third season of "Supernatural.'

"He went down this kind of dark road, mentally, and he was very fortunate to have people around him," Ackles recalled. "It wasn't just me. I mean, I happened to be maybe a stronger voice in the whole thing but he had friends, crew people, producers, friends, family."

The "Dawson's Creek' alum also shared how his friendship with Padalecki has grown stronger over the past years, explaining how they played a key role in each other's ups and downs.

"We've established not only a good working relationship but a good friendship and also a good support system with each other."

With their show's tenth season starting to "wind down", "Supernatural' airs every Wednesday at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.
