Sony's PlayStation Network is offering huge discounts for gamers through its Extended Play Sale program.

Aside from video game titles and DLC bundles, the promo also applies to various television shows, according to Cinema Blend.

PlayStation Network's discount program began on May 19 and is expected to end on Monday, May 25. Those who are looking to take advantage of the sale can purchase a variety of content at up to 60 percent off. For PlayStation Plus members, on the other hand, they'll be able to enjoy up to 80 percent discounts on the listed items.

The games listed on the PlayStation Blog that are part of the Extended Play Sale are for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and Sony's handheld console, the PlayStation Vita. These include high-profile games and various bundle deals such as Deluxe Editions, Premium Editions, and Season Passes.

For example, for Sony's next-gen console, gamers can purchase "Alien: Isolation" with the Season Pass bundle for a discounted price of $45 while PlayStation Plus members can get it for only $36. The original retail price of this game bundle is $89.

For the PlayStation 3, the "Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag" Gold Edition has been marked down from $39.99 to $27.99. The game's price for PlayStation Plus members is at $19.99.

PlayStation Vita owners, on the other hand, can buy "Motorstorm RC PS VITA" Complete Edition, "Sound Shapes" Ultimate Bundle" and "Tales of Hearts R" Season Pass at slashed down prices.

Aside from games, consumers can also choose from a variety of discounted television programs being offered by the PlayStation Network. Some of these include complete seasons of "American Dad," "Arrow," "Big Bang Theory," "How I Met Your Mother" and "Two and a Half Men."

The prices of the programs vary depending on their formats. For example, the discounted price of the high definition version of the second season of "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." is $25.99. The show's standard definition counterpart, on the other hand, costs $21.99.
