A video uploaded on YouTube reveals what appears to be the Moto X 3rd generation handset from Motorola.

Aside from showing off the device's overall design, the clip also teased its major specifications.

The 4-minute video, which was uploaded by Total Tech, showed a smartphone with a wood-grain back cover. The presenter also pointed out that the device is lined with a chrome metal band.

Interestingly, the back cover of the device features a horizontal metal panel in the middle which connects the handset's main camera, its LED flash and the logo of the maker.

The top portion of the device also packs various sensors. NDTV noted that it might also feature a port for a USB Type-C.

Based on the features shown in the clip, the handset sports a 5.64-inch Quad HD display with a resolution of 1440x2560 pixels. It also has 21GB of internal storage and is powered by an unidentified Snapdragon processor from Qualcomm.

The presenter in the video said that the device has 3GB of RAM, although previous rumors suggested that the device will come with a memory of 4GB.

In addition, the handset shown in the clip is running on the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.

Although it isn't clear if the device in the video is the actual Moto X 3rd generation, Phone Arena reported that it has been disguised to protect the leaker of the image.

The tech news site also noted through an update that the new Moto X handset is expected to come with two variants. Its smaller version will sport a 5.2-inch display while the larger 5.7-inch model will be a Verizon-exclusive handset.

There are no official announcements yet as to when the Moto X 3rd generation will be unveiled. Also, since Motorola has not yet revealed the exact specs of the upcoming device, all unofficial information regarding the handset should still be considered as rumors.
