Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, and Liam Payne are the four remaining members of British boy band One Direction. Harry spoke to Entertainment Weekly about life without Zayn. He expressed his excitement for beginning the U.S. tour on July 9 in San Diego, California. Rather than focusing on the downsides of having one less band member, Harry radiated with only positive remarks on the group's future in their already successful music career.

Zayn leaving One Direction during Spring 2015 was an earth-shattering moment for fans. One Direction and their loyal fanbase were in one boat. When Zayn jumped ship, it felt like the boat was beginning to sink. Three months have passed since then and it turns out that rather than sinking, that boat is getting an upgrade. The British boy band is picking up the slack and getting ready to release their next hit music album.

"The only changes have been that the parts Zayn sang have been picked up by different people. Other than that, the shows have been going absolutely great," said Harry.

He said that Niall, Louis, and Liam picked up Zayn's parts in the songs they sing. Liam sings the high notes that Zayn used to hit. One Direction is continuing to gain momentum as they end their Europe tour and get ready to tour across America. Things have stayed the same. They did not go through a drastic change and they did not begin learning choreography. Where five of them once stood and sang on stage, they are doing the same thing with the same songs but with four members. Harry revealed that they began recording and writing their next music album. The next one is described to carry a "new identity" and is "an obvious change from [Four] in a positive way."
