As Bobbi Kristina Brown clings to her life following a tragic incident in her mother's Georgia home earlier this year, it appears that her boyfriend Nick Gordon is fighting his own battle as reports of the constant physical and emotional abuse he inflicted on her began to surface. Ever since the only daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown was hospitalized, her boyfriend has endlessly been subject to media scrutiny with close friends and loved one of the actress coming out to reveal the nasty details of the duo's long term romance.

According to Daily Mail, Bobbi Kristina is no longer on life support systems. At the moment, the doctors pronounced her to be suffering from brain damage - the type that could not be salvaged regardless of the intensity of treatment and medication. During the entire six months that she had been hospitalized, medical experts from two hospitals conferred and exerted their utmost efforts to wake her from the coma but to no avail. Pat Houston, one her relatives, later on confirmed that the family members are simply waiting for her to pass. She said, "She is in God's hands now."

Amidst all the medical concerns, the family of Bobbi Kristina believe that Gordon is the one to blame for this heartbreaking incident and their loved one's eventual demise. While rumors of him physically and emotionally abusing her have been floating for quite some time, one of Bobbi Kristina's friends, named Alex Reid, confirmed the authenticity of these claims.

"Pretty soon after we met she started telling me about the times [Nick Gordon] had been physically abusive and it just kept escalating," Reid shared in an interview with Giuliana Rancic via E News. She added, "It just kept getting worse and worse." Reid went on to share that Gordon would hit Bobbi Kristina relentlessly - violence that stemmed from his lack of ability to control his temper. She disclosed, "He was known to choke her. Throw her on the walls, punch her in the jaw. Just unbelievable stuff. It was really this off the handle temper."

For their part, the family of Bobbi Kristina decided to pursue the legal route to make Gordon pay for his alleged abuse. The 22-year-old's conservator, Bedelia Hargrove, released a statement in behalf of the Brown and Houston family in response to the disconcerting details revealed about the suffering experienced by Whitney's daughter in the hands of her reportedly abusive boyfriend, according to TV3.

''I filed a lawsuit on behalf of Bobbi Kristina Brown. I filed this lawsuit to pursue justice on behalf of Bobbi Kristina Brown. No human being, male or female, should endure what Bobbi Kristina endured. Pat Houston [her aunt] and Bobby Brown have done all they can to take care of Bobbi Kristina since this terrible tragedy occurred.

''I have worked closely with both of them and we all want the very best for Bobbi Kristina. This lawsuit represents our collective efforts to get justice for Bobbi Kristina. We pray that justice will be done for her and that it will be swift.''

While most men alleged with such grave charges would tremble in fear, Gordon is actually "excited" for the court proceedings to begin. An insider told Us Weekly that Bobbi Kristina's boyfriend could not wait to get to court to finally defend himself. The source disclosed, "Nick is excited for the trial in the civil case to start because he can finally tell his side of the story."
