Johnny Galecki, 40 who plays the geeky Leonard Hofstadter in "The Big Bang Theory" seems to be really raking in the big bucks now that he has just purchased action star Jason Statham's Hollywood Hills estate with Victoria's Secret model Rosie Alice Huntington-Whiteley for $9.2 million.

The recently restored 1929 Mediterranean estate was once owned by comedian Ben Stiller and actor Lou Diamond Phillips, and was being sold for $8.999 million, according to the L.A. Times. It was sold in 2011 for $7.35 million.

The lavish estate boasts interiors of 5,334 square feet, according to its tax records, and has living and family rooms, a den, a library slash study, an office, a gym, a breakfast area, six bedrooms and six bathrooms on two stories.

Add to that, the massive estate also has a landscaped swimming pool and a dining patio that is accented with a tile fountain.

Galecki has been with the CBS sitcom "The Big Bang Theory" since it first aired on 2007. Since the show gained steady popularity, so did Galecki and his co-stars' salaries, since they reportedly earn as much as $1 million per episode.

Each season (starting from seasons four to eight) runs with 24 episodes. Aside from Galecki, other big stars of the show include Hofstadter's equally geeky and socially awkward physicist roommate Dr. Sheldon Cooper (played by Jim Parsons), their next-door neighbour Penny (played by Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting), their friends the engineer Howard Wolowitz (played by Simon Helberg) and astrophysicist Raj Koothrappali (played by Kunal Nayyar), Howard's microbiologist wife Bernadette Rostenkowski (played by Melissa Rauch), and Sheldon's girlfriend (or ex-girlfriend, depending on where season 9 goes) neuroscientist Amy Farrah Fowler (played by Mayim Bialik).

When season 8 left off, Amy was very upset with Sheldon since he was more interested in thinking about his TV shows rather than her. She stormed out of his apartment and asked for time to think about their relationship, and decided to break up with him in the end. Sheldon then pulled out a ring, much to the surprise of fans, and questions what he is going to do with it.

As for Leonard and Amy, they were seen driving off to get married in Las Vegas, but Leonard confesses during the ride that he actually kissed a girl years back when he was still going out with Penny. Though visibly upset about the news, Penny decides to push through with the marriage, but whether they do end up as Mr. and Mrs. Hofstadter in the end remains to be seen when season 9 returns.
