Bennifer is vacationing in the Bahamas with their children on 4th of July weekend. The Hollywood couple released a joint statement announcing news of a pending divorce on Tuesday, June 30. Although their relationship is in turmoil, actor Ben Affleck and wife Jennifer Garner continue to put their children first.

"They got the kids out of LA as soon as school was out. Bahamas is a place they've been going to for years that's very private and special for their kids," said a source in an interview with Us Weekly.

They put work schedules and personal differences aside to make sure that their three children get to celebrate Independence Day together. Violet is nine, Seraphina is six, and Samuel is three years old. The family owns a home in the Bahamas and will enjoy more privacy there.

"After much thought and careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to divorce," Bennifer said in their statement to ET. "We go forward with love and friendship for one another and a commitment to co-parenting our children whose privacy we ask to be respected during this difficult time. This will be our only comment on this private, family matter. Thank you for understanding."

Affleck, 42 and Garner, 43, were married for ten years. According to Us Weekly, the couple will continue to live in the same neighborhood in Brentwood, California. The reason for this arrangement most likely has to do with their kids who are still young and in school. They will not be living under the same roof.
