This week, FOX has unveiled the full new trailer for the upcoming comedy-horror series "Scream Queens', helmed by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan, all of whom have bagged Emmy and Golden Globe awards for their work on "Glee' and "American Horror Story.'

The upcoming series follows the story of Wallace University students, particularly the Kappa House. Such sorority is ruled by Chanel Oberlin, played by Emma Roberts, who seeks to associate the group with only the elite and silver-spooned students.

However, when anti-Kappa Dean Munsch, portrayed by Jamie Lee Curtis, decrees that pledging to the sorority should be open to all individuals, a 20-year-old murder mystery is reignited as the Red Devil comes back to wreak havoc.

The upcoming anthology series has been described by FOX with the following statement: "Part black comedy, part slasher flick, "Scream Queens' is a modern take on the classic whodunit, in which every character has a motive for murder... Or could easily be the next blood-soaked casualty."

Murphy has also promised that the killer in the series will only be revealed until the end of the 15 episodes.

"Unlike Horror Story, which completely reboots, this has some of the continuity in that some of the characters and some of the relationships continue into a new world," he explained.

As for a second season, the showrunner also shared how the story will continue and which characters will move on to a new chapter.

"Every episode, you get clues as to who the killer is going to be and then all of these clues accumulate. Whoever survives - and there will be people who will survive - they will go on next season to a new location and a new terror," Murphy said.

Aside from Roberts and Curtis, "Scream Queens' also stars "Glee' actress Lea Michele, who has been previously nominated for an Emmy and a Golden Globe Award.

Abigail Breslin from "Zombieland' and "Little Miss Sunshine' has also joined the cast along with Nasim Pedrad ("Despicable Me 2'), Oliver Hudson ("Nashville'), Skyler Samuels ("American Horror Story: Coven'), Keke Palmer ("Ice Age: Continental Drift'), Diego Bonita ("Rock of Ages'), Glen Powell ("The Expendables 3'), Lucien Laviscount ("Episodes"), Niecy Nash ("Getting On'), music artist and actor Nick Jonas ("Kingdom') as well as Grammy Award nominee and actress Ariana Grande.
