Google's latest Nexus smartphone will soon be available in more markets.

According to a report by GSM Arena, the Lollipop-powered phablet will arrive in six new countries, all of which will be available directly from Google stores.

In the report, the search engine giant has recently opened Google stores in a number of markets in the EU, including Australia, Finland, Denmark, Ireland, Portugal and Norway. These six markets will be able to get the Motorola Nexus 6 device in the following weeks.

With the opening to the newer markets, the report stated that Google has finally made its devices available to 21 markets, directly from its own store. This is definitely an achievement for the Android maker, who reportedly encountered supply problems when the Nexus 6 was initially launched.

The huge demand of Android and Nexus fans has made it difficult for Google and Motorola to launch it in more markets.

Announced later last year together with the HTC Nexus 9, the Motorola Nexus 6 is the best mobile phone Google has ever released. More importantly, it ran on Android 5.0 Lollipop back then, which was considered the smoothest and fastest update to the mobile OS.

For Android fans located in the countries mentioned who are interested in getting the device, the Nexus 6 boasts a huge 5.96-inch display with QHD (2560 x 1440) resolution, a 3GB RAM and an option for 32GB or 64GB of built-in storage.

The device is also among the few devices that ran on the the fastest Qualcomm chipset in 2014 - the Snapdragon 805. The other devices that boasts the chipset include the Motorola Droid Turbo and the Samsung Galaxy Note and Note Edge.

Meanwhile, the Nexus 6 is not just about size. The device also packs a 13MP camera and a 2MP front shooter. While these camera sensors are not the best in the business when the smartphone was announced, Nexus smartphones have not been known to boast the best camera specifications anyway.

Other specs include a 3,220mAh battery, LTE connectivity, and Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box.

However, even if the Motorola Nexus 6 is the best Google-made device out there, some interested buyers might still re-consider, especially that the Nexus 7 has already reached the rumor mill.

According to a report by Android Origin, Google may be returning to LG with the development of the Nexus 7. Last year, many people speculated that Google chose Motorola because of its brief involvement with the company in the preceding years.

In addition, Motorola has also seen huge success with its Moto X and Moto G devices, paving the way for Android fans to recognize the brand name once more.
