"The Walking Dead' panel wasted no time in dropping details about the hit series' premiere date and official trailer for its sixth season, announcing that the AMC's zombie drama show will return on Oct. 11, Sunday.

The season six will make its debut with a special 90-minunte episode, as reported by Deadline.

According to executive producer Gale Anne Hurd, the new season will have an international premiere, reaching 125 countries within 24 hours of its debut in the U.S. Interestingly, they will also have a live premiere for the highly anticipated season at the Madison Square Garden.

Following the announcement of the premiere date, the panel introduced a brand new trailer which gave fans a first glimpse of the upcoming season.

The four-minute footage shows a large group of walkers getting into Alexandria while Rick (Andrew Lincoln) struggles with Morgan (Lennie James) despite reuniting with one of his first pals since the zombie apocalypse broke out.

Having problems with the former sheriff deputy leading the group, Morgan seemingly teams up with Deanna (Tovah Feldshuh) to convince the Alexandria residents to turn against Rick.

At the end of the trailer, crossbow-wielding Daryl (Norman Reedus) seems to be in grave danger after running into an unnamed group of survivors.

Tying up Daryl's hands and propping him up against a tree, one man points a gun to Reedus' character with two unknown women standing behind him.

Although several websites have assumed that the trio comes from the group of Wolves, it seems unlikely due to the fact that these individuals do not have the letter "W' carved on their foreheads.

As such, it has been suggested that these people could be some of the former residents who were exiled from the Alexandria community.

The Wolves could be coming nearer to Alexandria but these hostile survivors will not be arriving at the gates of the walled community in the beginning of the sixth season of "The Walking Dead.'

In the finale episode of the last season, the villainous group saw the possibilities in Alexandria through several photos. With a zombie army readily available in their trucks, fans are suggesting that the Wolves' plan is to attack the community early on in season six.

However, showrunner Scott Gimple confirmed that the Wolves will not be showing up during the first few episodes of the upcoming season.

"Things might not be as they seem," Gimple teased about what the Comic-Con trailer really says about season six. He further stated that the new installment would give fans a look at numerous flashbacks, including an entire episode of memories.

AMC's "The Walking' Dead returns to the small screen for its sixth season on Oct. 11, Sunday.
