The CW stars Jared Padalecki and Stephen Amell recently showed their support for a good cause by posting shirtless photos on their Facebook pages.

"Supernatural' actor Padalecki and "Arrow' star Amell went shirtless to help out the Keep Fighting charity, a foundation that was created by the former with his co-star Jensen Ackles to promote mental health awareness.

The actors are selling special shirts online to collect money for the cause, with such threads being made available on this site for a limited time.

Padalecki has been vocal about his personal struggles with mental illness over the past year; consequently, his family, friends and fans have carried on supporting his Keep Fighting movement.

During the Comic-Con event last month, "Supernatural' fans gave Padalecki a surprise by lighting candles as a means of respecting his struggles and appreciating his passion for helping others who are similarly battling depression and other mental illnesses.

Before the convention at San Diego, the 32-year-old actor returned to action after his breakdown forced him to take some time away from his public shows and events.

Earlier this year, the former "Gilmore Girls' actor was touring with Ackles to promote their hit series; however, midway through his scheduled appearances, Padalecki made the decision to go home and fans were caught by surprise with his cryptic tweet, saying: "I need all of the love I can get right now. Please please give me a few seconds of your time and write me. #AlwaysKeepFighting."

He also mentioned that he needed to spend more time with his family and loved ones.

"Dear #JIBCON and #AHBL6. I am in desperate and urgent need of my family. I am so sorry to tell you this but I must head home," the actor further wrote.

In an interview with US Weekly, the "House of Wax' actor pointed towards the tensions in both his personal and professional lives and how these have contributed to his distress. Family and friends close to Padalecki, including his manager, also opened up about how the actor had been pushing himself too hard in the past months.

According to Padalecki himself, he developed the habit of spending too much time on work after moving to Los Angeles despite being 17 years old by then.

"The last summer, my life has changed a lot. I have a wife. I have two sons, [Shepherd and Thomas], and so I really needed a chance to just unplug," the actor also shared.
He also assured fans that he will be taking a break and having some quality time for himself every year.

Despite earlier speculations, Padalecki is set to return with Ackles for "Supernatural' season 11, when the hit series returns to the small screen in October.
