After the unanticipated departure of the late actor Paul Walker from "Furious 7,' Vin Diesel has been filling up his time searching for the ideal cast ensemble that will comprise the eighth sequel.

"Orange Is The New Black' star Ruby Rose has already confirmed that she is in talks with the production team for "Furious 8.'

After sitting down with Today Show Australia, the actress opened up that she had previously negotiated with the studio for the seventh sequel but her peculiar resemblance to pop star Justin Bieber lowered her chances of bagging the part.

"It's so funny because now I'm in talks with that movie and I haven't mentioned to them that I know [they turned me down because I looked like Justin]," the Australian actress said during the talk show, as told to OK! Magazine.

Rose hopes that this time she will finally be able to land a role in the popular movie series.

"My last audition before Orange was for Fast And Furious 7, but they didn't want me because one of the main guys said I looked like Justin Bieber!", the former MTV VJ shared during the Today Show.

Dwayne Johnson has also confirmed that his negotiation with Universal Studios is in its final phasa.

As for Diesel, who also serves as co-producer for the movie, he will return to reprise his role as Dominic Toretto.

The highly anticipated sequel will begin filming in 2016. During an interview with Access Hollywood, American rapper Ludacris confirmed that "Furious 8' is happening.

"We start shooting next year, and it comes out April of 2017 so far," he revealed to the website.

Almost two years since Walker's demise in November 2013, the 2015 Teen Choice Awards still proved last Aug. 16 that the actor is remains cherished by his fans.

The event got emotional when the "Furious 7' cast, including Diesel, Ludacris, Michelle Rodriguez and Jordana Brewster, accepted their award for Choice Movie: Action/Adventure.

Nominated posthumously for Choice Movie Actor under the Action/Adventure category, Walker triumphed over Diesel and other popular male stars for the award.

The "Fast & Furious' cast members paid tribute and shared a touching inspiration about their late co-star.

"I can't stand here and be rewarded like this without talking about someone very, very important to us," Diesel said to the audience. "One of the best blessings in our lives is that we have the opportunity to call Pablo a brother. Paul Walker is here with us in spirit.

He added, "This was a very special movie for us to make. We make these movies with our hearts. We really are a family"¦We are a true, true, true family."

"Fast and Furious 8' will make its way to theaters on Apr. 14, 2017.
