‘Uncharted 4’ Confirmed to Launch in March

Development studio Naughty Dog has confirmed that the PlayStation 4-exclusive "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" will officially be released on March 18, 2016, for the North American and European markets.

Aside from the release date, the developer also revealed the list of freebies included in the game, according to a post on the PlayStation Blog.

The first package, the "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End Special Edition," will cost $79.99. Aside from the Blu-ray disc of the game, the package also includes a 48-page hardcover art book featuring the illustrations of Dark Horse and Naughty Dog, in-game currency for unlocking multiplayer content and a sticker sheet from Naughty Dog and Pirate Sigil.

The package also comes with a steelbook case designed by Alexader "The Who Draws" Iaccarino.

The second package, or the "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End Libertalia Collector's Edition" can be purchased for $119.99 and features the freebies of the Special Edition as well as a 12-inch tall statue of main character Nathan Drake designed by Gentle Giant.

It also comes with three outfits for multiplayer mode including "Uncharted: Drake's Fortune," "Heist Drake" and "Desert Drake" and the Gold Weapon Skin and Desert Weapon Skin. Those who purchase the Collector's Edition will also get the Madagascar Sidekick outfits and Henry Avery Sigil ball cap.

The digital version of the game, on the other hand, features the "Uncharted 4: Digital Deluxe Edition" and will cost $79.99. It comes with the Triple Pack which will provide gamers access to the first singleplayer DLC as well as two multiplayer packs that will unlock rare and legendary items.

Gamers will also be able to purchase the Triple Pack as a separate add-on for $20.

Aside from these different packages, online retailers will also provide their own pre-order bonuses for "Uncharted 4." For GameStop, those who will pre-order the game will receive the Multiplayer Booster Pack to unlock single-use boost and the Phurba Dagger Taunt based on the symbol from "Uncharted 2."

Amazon, on the other hand, will give away "Desert Drake" multiplayer outfit and the Snow Camo weapon skin.

Lastly, pre-ordering the game from the PlayStation Store comes with the Desert Weapon skin and the "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" Dynamic Theme.

"Uncharted 4" is the latest installment in the series and takes place three years after the events of 2011's "Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception." The latest game follows the story of Drake as he returns to his former life as a treasure hunter, Cinema Blend reported.
