The 19 Kids and Counting brood have been through so much media scrutiny in the past months. Ever since news broke out that saw Josh Duggar's teenage indiscretions and extramarital affairs exposed for all the world to see, the entire clan of Jim Bob Duggar and wife Michelle Duggar have been the target of persecution and ridicule. Apart from the comments and criticisms hurled at the 19 Kids and Counting family with regard the manner by which they handled the behavior of Josh Duggar, both Jim Bob Duggar and Michelle Duggar have been repeatedly blamed for the subsequent behavior of their eldest child. Despite all these issues, it appears that the 19 Kids and Counting family remain intact and strong as a unit.

One of the most exciting news that involves the 19 Kids and Counting stars is focused on a much younger Duggar: Jinger Duggar. It has been widely reported that the 19 Kids and Counting stars attended the wedding of their friends, the Bates, earlier this year. While the focus had been on the blushing bride and joyful groom, fans and followers of the 19 Kids and Counting noticed the closeness blossoming between Josh Duggar's sister, Jinger Duggar, and one of the stars of Growing Up Bates, William "Lawson" Bates.

"Is there something we should know about Lawson and Jinger?!" wrote a fan of the 19 Kids and Counting family in the photo that showed Jinger Duggar and Lawson Bates cozying up in a corner. Another fan added, "They would make a perfect couple!!!" The same sentiment was expressed by yet another Facebook user who wrote, "I think they are a great match." See the photo here.

The 19 Kids and Counting clan have been battling detractors since the day Josh Duggar's molestation charges were brought forth and made public knowledge by the media. Almost immediately following the incident, TLC decided to suspend the airing of the show's episodes - a move that eventually led to the cancellation of 19 Kids and Counting. While the Duggar clan attempted to move on from the issue, yet another scandal hit the family in the form of Josh Duggar's subscription to the Ashley Madison site. His name was then included in the list of men who subscribed to the website that promised its users discrete and fun-filled extramarital affairs. At the moment, Josh Duggar is seeking treatment in a Christian rehabilitation facility. His wife, Anna Duggar, is reportedly receiving support from Jim Bob Duggar and the rest of the 19 Kids and Counting brood.
