Marvel has huge plans for its superhero movies, and "The Last Witch Hunter" star Vin Diesel is pretty keen to be a part of its Phase 3 with the movie "Inhumans."

Diesel has been talking about the "Inhumans" film for the longest time, and his role as Black Bolt is as good as confirmed, although no deals have been signed yet.

People have began questioning why this is the case, and now during an interview with MTV, Diesel revealed that he  actually has certain demands before signing on to the role.

"I don't do too much 'if it happens,'" Diesel explained. "Do you know what I mean? I don't do too much 'if it happens,' it's more at what level it will happen... it's not a matter of me wooing Marvel, it's a matter of Marvel wooing me. And I love them, but I'm just saying, show me a dope script and show me a great director, all of which I know that Kevin (Feige) is capable of, because he dazzled me when he suggested Groot. That was, like, profound to me."

"Of course he was playing off of 'The Iron Giant,' so it did feel like a natural next step for that, and a way to service 'The Iron Giant' in a kind of new form," Diesel continued. "It couldn't have gone better; I thought it was genius. I'm not doing anything just for work. I'm doing things that I can feel passionate about, and that I feel like I can contribute to."

During an earlier interview with io9, Diesel teased that his new role will have him "play a character that doesn't have my voice."

So my voice is used for Groot and my presence is used for the other character," he shared.

In other news, Diesel is also working on several other films, such as the eighth installment to "The Fast and Furious" franchise as well as the third installment of "XXX."

According to the actor, they already have a director for his other movie "XXX 3" - D.J. Caruso, who is the brains behind "Disturbia," "I Am Number Four," and "Eagle Eye."

"I'm excited (expletive) about 'XXX,'" Diesel gushed. "D.J. Caruso is directing it, which is exciting. The big question now is which will race to production first now that F. Gary Gray is on ('Furious 8')? Will 'XXX' race to production first or will 'Fast' race to production first?"
