Robert Downey Jr. has been sharing the basics in Hollywood to "Star Wars: The Force Awakens' newcomer John Boyega.

The "Avengers: Age of Ultron' star has seemingly become an inspiration to the 23-year-old actor after welcoming him to the Disney family.

"I was at [Downey Jr.'s] house a few weeks ago," Boyega said in an interview with ABC, "and he doesn't give me like direct advice, he probably wouldn't even call himself my mentor, but that's how I see him. Whenever he speaks there is something to learn from it. So, you know, I see him as the great Obi-Wan, and I'm his Padawan."

Boyega also revealed that Downey, Jr. has been giving him useful tips when it comes to his acting career.

"He's helped me prepare for how my life is going to change and that has been inspiring. I'm talking to someone who understands the power of choices, both positive and negative," he added.

Aside from the "Iron Man' star, Boyega also opened up about working with the legendary Harrison Ford. The Peckham native shared positive words about the "Indiana Jones' star, drawing attention to his well-adjusted approach towards acting and his openness about his career and personal life.

"He [Ford] has that knowledge and it's beautiful to watch. He has a great balanced between the artistic and technical elements of acting, which is what it's all about," he said.

On his way to transitioning into a Jedi knight, Boyega had to go through "seven months of auditions" before bagging the role, comparing the auditions to "The X Factor' and describing it as an "intense process."

According to the British actor, his character Finn, who is known to be a stormtrooper-tuned-Jedi, was the "best character" he had picked out after reading the script.

"Finn is dope. His story is so epic," he said. "It's a story that's never been seen before, but it also mirrors the stories of Luke Skywalker and Han Solo. And he's quirky and charismatic and funny."

"Star Wars: The Force Awakens' is set for an official release on Dec. 18, while "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story' is set to premiere a year later on Dec. 16, 2016. In addition, "Star Wars: Episode VIII' will be released on May 26, 2017.
