Apple's Beats Brings Solo2 Headphones to the Next Level, Introduces Wireless Version with Bluetooth Connectivity

This week, Beats Electronics added another product to its wireless lineup and introduced its latest Solo2 Wireless headphones with Bluetooth connectivity, the company's first product offering following Apple's acquisition.

This new pair of headphones has been announced as a wireless model of its wired Solo2 counterpart, and still comes with a similar design and quality of sound.

According to Beats president Luke Wood, the company is upping the game for the world's "most popular headphone", the Solo2, and is incorporating the wireless Bluetooth capability to it.

With Bluetooth technology, the Solo2 Wireless lessens the hassle for users and allows them to carry out a number of movements, such as taking phone calls, within 30 feet of the device. Listening to one's favorite songs has also become much easier as the volume can be changed with buttons strategically placed on the ear cup.

Aside from its wireless capabilities, the Solo2 Wireless boasts a maximum of 12 hours of playback with a single charge.

This pair of headphones has been made available in a number of colors, including black, white, blue and red. Apple and selected retailers will begin selling the Solo2 Wireless this November with a price tag of $299.95.

Customers who prefer the red version of the headphones can get their hands on a pair exclusively from Verizon Wireless until next month.

Aside from the launching of the Solo2 Wireless headphones, it has also been announced by Beats that the Wired Solo2 already comes with their "Royal Edition" color ranges. These include tStone Grey, Hunter Green, Imperial Violet, Blush Rose, or Sapphire Blue as the color options, and will be made available this November with the price of $199.95, similar to that of the Solo2 headphones.

No official dates have been announced as to when the Solo2 Wireless headphones with Bluetooth technology will arrive in Apple stores and select retailers.
