Media reports are rife with speculation of Kate Middleton's third baby. Nobody seems to know for sure.
The first tabloid to report the 'news' was Star magazine, which based its story on alleged absences of the Duchess from various high-profile events.
The Star said that Middleton's pregnancy comes just months after birth of their second child in May. They even quoted an 'insider' as saying that "Kate's third baby is apparently due in late April or early May, so she'll likely be showing by the New Year."
Many in media are going as far as to reason why Middleton would want a third baby after all, saying that having more babies will strengthen her position in the royal family.
Others have quoted sources who applied the 'logic' that since the duchess grew up with two siblings, she would naturally want more babies.
The rumors that Kate is expecting started when she reportedly missed a wedding of Bear Maclean and Daisy Dickson, and send her sister Pippa,31, to take her place at the prestigious social occasion. Other reports followed citing her absence from important events throughout this last month. Royal 'insiders' in tabloid magazines said that her absences were owing to morning sickness.
A source, like other tabloid sources, had an apparent personal familiarity with Middleton to explain the cause of her absence to Star magazine, saying that "she's not taking any chances," during this pregnancy.
Closer Weekly also cited an 'insider' telling them of special preferences of the princess: "She always insisted she wants four children before her 36th birthday."
While another 'insider' was sure that "Kate definitely wants a third baby by the time she's 35. That way she can have even more before she's 40."
Nobody has received any word from the Royal family themselves, and the information flowing into the media is sourced only from 'insiders', one of whom then tells the Gossip Cop magazine that all these reports are thrash. The magazine says that baby no. 3 might someday arrive, but not this time around.
However, with so many 'insiders' telling their own tales on Prince William and Kate's life, the best source of information would be the Royal family itself who can truly confirm or deny the reports!
