Zooey Deschanel Stars in ‘New Girl’ Season 4: Finale Episode 22 “Clean Break” Preview

Jessica "Jess" Day is the vice principal of a Los Angeles middle school. She lives with three young roommates she found on Craigslist. Jess, Nick, Schmidt, Winston, Coach, and Cece navigate through life together in the American sitcom television series. "New Girl' Season 4 comes to an end with Episode 22 "Clean Break." The series finale airs on Tuesday, May 5 on FOX at 9|8c.

Jess is quirky and optimistic. Nick is sarcastic and lazy. Schmidt is overconfident and easily manipulated by women. Winston is an easy target. Cece is passive-agressive. Coach hides his emotional baggage. The six friends are so different that they do life well, together.

In "Clean Break," Coach prepares to move out of the apartment. He plans on moving in with his girlfriend to New Jersey. Schmidt throws out things he does not need and realizes what is important to him. Jess and Nick begin to wonder if things could work out between them.

Trent O'Donnell directed the Ep. Rebecca Addelman and Kim Rosenstock wrote it. The TV series will return in Season 5.
