20th Century Fox has recently unveiled the international version of the "Victor Frankenstein' trailer, which contains plenty of new footage not included in the first domestic version.

After debuting online, fans can already get a glimpse of a contemporary remake for the classic Mary Shelley novel which can be deemed as a cross between a horror film and a buddy comedy.

With James McAvoy taking on the role as the titular scientist and Daniel Radcliffe as his cynical assistant, Igor Strausman, the upcoming flick sheds light on the characters' friendship as they aspire to aid humanity and "create life out of death."

McAvoy's character is greatly committed towards bringing life unto the dreadful being that shares his name, despite his suspicious sidekick expressing his doubts about the experiment.

However, Victor's efforts go too far, and his fascination towards immortality brings on shocking consequences. Only Igor can bring his companion back from the edge of madness and keep him safe from his monstrous creation.

"You have the chance to be a part of something," Dr. Frankenstein says to Igor in the trailer.

"Of what? Being electrocuted, chased by monsters and hunted by the police?" Radcliffe's character replies angrily.

"Well, if you're going to concentrate on the dark side ..." the mad scientist further says.

In one of the behind-the-scenes images unveiled earlier this year by Empire, the two actors can be seen resting quietly. However, it appears that the duo had been wearing their character's clothes while facing a pile of flesh intended to have new life.

"There is some debate now about which is the version we're going to use," Radcliffe said in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. "It won't be up to me, because it's not actually my name for the whole film "¦ so I'll leave that as a tantalizing clue."

The former "Harry Potter' star's character had not been introduced in the novel but made its debut in the 1931 film "Frankenstein' and has become a stock character from then on.

Helmed by Paul McGuigan and penned by "Chronicles' writer Max Landis, the upcoming film will not only highlight Igor's experiences as an assistant to Dr. Frankenstein but also as one of his experiments.

"It's about creation, and Victor is not only creating this monster but in a sense Igor, who in the beginning of the movie is living in abject conditions and considered less than human," Radcliffe explained.

McAvoy also discussed his character and how his relationship with Igor will be portrayed in the upcoming film version.

"Victor's ego means that at times he thinks he's superior to Igor," the "X-Men: Apocalypse' actor said. "Their relationship is close, loving, abusive, manipulative, and it turns on a dime."

McAvoy and Radclife are joined by "Downton Abbey' alum Jessica Findlay Brown and Andrew Scott in "Victor Frankenstein,' which makes its way to theaters on Nov. 25.
